We help to join up the Triratna community across the world:
to support the flow of spiritual friendship, to help us coordinate and cooperate together, and help to keep Triratna a vibrant, healthy and growing spiritual community.
The International Council (IC) was established in 2011, with Sangharakshita’s encouragement and blessing, and since then hundreds of people have contributed to its work.

I’m very happy that we now have an international forum on which all of these issues can be discussed and even decided upon, taking into account all the diversity that now exists within our Movement, and at the same time, being concerned to preserve our unity and our harmony.
I shall be listening, as it were from a distance, to the humming of this busy little hive, of the International Council. But I shall expect it to be functioning entirely, as it were, autonomously as far as I’m concerned. And I look forward to seeing it achieve great things.
