Connecting across the world

In this pair of meetings we’ll connect with each another across the strands and across the world.

Four Gifts – our theme for 2026

We’ll be checking in on how the Four Gifts theme for the year is going:

  • what has worked well so far?
  • what else we have planned across the world for the rest of the year?
  • how can we bring together what we learn through the year?
  • how we can do any future shared themes better? (at the moment we’re considering another theme for 2028)

Jñānagarbha’s Travels

Jñānagarbha will have just returned to Adhisthana after his extensive trip around Centres in the USA, New Zealand and Australia, and will share reflections about his travels and all his many meetings, talks and conversations.

Looking ahead to our September meeting

We’ll talk about the in-person September meeting at Adhisthana entitled May Our Communication with One Another be Sangha.
Here is an overview of the plans so far for that meeting:

Within the overall theme of spiritual community and internationality, we will come together to explore a host of issues, including:

  • what does Triratna have to offer in a time of environmental change, and political and economic uncertainty?
  • young people – how can we attract them and support them in deepening their practice? Where is this going well, and what can we learn from those places?
  • the Triratna Economic Review – how can we best fund our core bodies and innovation? How can we make best use of our assets and reserves? Are there ways we could cooperate more effectively?
  • how can our Area Councils be most effective? Can they offer an ‘eagle’s eye’ perspective for each Area, in a similar way that the College Chair’s Council seeks to do for the whole of Triratna? How do Area Councils need to be similar to each other, and how might they need to be different?

For each of these themes we’ll be joined by a guest to the meeting who has particular expertise, and can help us in our exploration of the issues.

We’ll also be welcoming Saraka our new International Order Convenor!

Please come to whichever of the two sessions suits you best. You are welcome to attend both if you wish.

We look forward to seeing you.
